Mountain View Ranch is located in Terrell County, south and west of Dryden, Texas about half way between Del Rio and Big Bend National Park. There is a Post Office and one operating store in Dryden, 19 miles west of Dryden is the county seat of Sanderson which has numerous motels and restraurants.
Mountain View ranch is an affordable ranch for those looking to purchase land for hunting, recreation and other outdoor activities. The terrain of the ranch is very gently rolling with access to all tracts from a caliche/gravel road. Vegetation on the ranch includes mesquite, desert willow, sage brush, creasote brush, native grasses and many species of cacti. Whitetail deer are the main game species of the area, there are also javelina, blue quail, dove and numerous varmits and an occaisional mountain lion. Athough this is primarily whitetail country, some mule deer are found on Mountain View Ranch as well as cross bred mule and whitetail deer.

The State of Texas also offers financing to qualified veterans. On a $40,000.00 package the down payment is $2,000.00 and monthly payments are around $268.00 with no prepayment penalty.
